Steve Longo is rhythm guitarist of retro rock and roll band Beethoven’s Nightmare. He’s a self-taught musician who first picked up a guitar after watching The Beatles' American debut appearance on Ed Sullivan Show February of 1964.
His background also includes multimedia developing and song writing and playing the keyboard. An avid outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast, Longo’s day job for the past 19 years has been as a system administrator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, in Livermore, California.
His performance credits include:
- Co-founding the award winning MUSIGN Theater Company, a group that translates songs into sign language using dance, music, mime and visual effects.
- Solo performances as a one-man band, using a computer to orchestrate lightshow, drums, bass, synthesizer, etc. while he played his guitar.
