About The Band

Q&A With Ed Chevy

Q:What are BN’s plans for the future?

Plenty...here are the 7 chords played in a key of A to G:

  1. Get Hollywood to make a movie about BN's "Turn It Up Louder." We do have a story - our lifetime, the making of the deaf band, the struggles, the near-death tragedy and our achievement together.
  2. Produce another album, playing real punchy, hard rock style.
  3. Go on worldwide tour, exposing awareness that the deaf rock their music on a different level on stage. We could go on, educating them, exclusively through musical theater. We want to lay the groundwork for multicultural communities of deaf music.
  4. BN to open up their acts with top bands. We don't want to be limited to performing for disability arts programs. We want to diversify and reach the mainstream.
  5. Finding more people who understand deaf culture, deafness, and sign language to work with us managing BN, promoting PR, booking performances, etc.
  6. Invite Bruce Springsteen and Faith Hill to join us in singing, "I Want To Be An American In A Rock And Roll Band." We could be the rhythm machine and Bruce and Faith can hop in and sing along and play with us. I saw Bruce's concerts twice. He's the man who inspired me to compose the American anthem.
  7. Get Peter Townshend of The Who to listen to our new rock and roll hearing aid song, called "My Hearing Aid Aint Rockin' Right." There are millions of hard of hearing people in this old world. Peter is already hard of hearing and I hope that when he sees this, he would react.
